Common questions
How does scoring work?
Each question earns up to 1,000 points. Divide the smaller of your guess and the answer by the larger, multiply by 1,000, and round to the nearest point. An exact answer earns 1,000; half or double earns 500. Five questions can earn 5,000 points.
When do the questions reset?
At midnight in your device’s time zone. Your game checks the date when you reopen it and while it is active. The 100-question collection repeats every 20 days.
Will my progress sync to another device?
No. Guesses, scores, streaks and settings are stored on this device. They may be included in Apple-managed device backups.
Can I play without internet?
Yes. All questions and answers are included in the app. Opening a source website or emailing support requires a connection.
How do I erase my progress?
Open Settings in the app, choose Erase saved games, and confirm. This permanently clears the app’s local history and preferences. You can also remove the app and its data.
Why is a question’s answer from an earlier year?
Counts change. Questions about stores or other changing facts name the reference year. Scoring uses that dated source rather than a live count. Rounded facts are labeled in the question or units.
